Our team of copyeditors will provide a fresh approach to your work, and read it from an objective point of view. We will always look for ways to improve the text, and help the author, but we will not make the work our own. In fact, if you wish, we will just read the text without making changes, and provide you a thoughtful analysis, alternatives, and suggestions on ways you can change the text to make it better. This way, you have all the power.

Copyediting skills range from making simple changes to punctuation, to changing a few words or phrases, to re-writing an entire paragraph. We will also make sure that the style and flavor of the text is consistent throughout the complete work.

We will never try to make your work fit our services, instead we will tailor our services to fit your work. That's a promise!

The Difference Between Proofreading and Copyediting

The copy-editing and proofreading services are distinctly different services, and they will have to be paid for individually. The difference between proofreading and copyediting is as follows:

Proofreading basically means reading a proof copy of a text in order to detect and correct any errors, such as typographical errors, misspellings, and punctuation, etc.

Copyediting is the editorial work that an editor does to make formatting changes and improvements to a manuscript; copyediting is done prior to the work of proofreaders, who handle documents before final publication.
